Frankie

Scottish graphic designer (and past interviewee) Euan Gallacher recently knocked up this little number, a mash-up of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and the t-shirt based marketing campaign for 80s band Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
I really like the shirt, but think it would work equally as well or better without the power cords/jumper cables fixed to Frankie's forehead. Interestingly, today t-shirt titan Threadless also released a pop-culture mashup tee based on Frankenstein's monster, which also has cables encircling the face.

Coincidence? Yeah, probably. Just thought I'd point it out.

Frankie Say Relax is available from Regal Clothing for £15 (save 10% with the discount code THUNDERFROGS), and Franklinstein is $18 from Threadless.

  1. I love the short clip from Young Frankenstein! I was actually watching this movie on DVD this past weekend... You gotta love Mel Brooks!
