Popeye Tee

Ok, so maybe I was a little hasty in declaring my disinterest in the t-shirt world. Here's one of a slew of unlicensed Popeye based designs released since the copyright expired in January.

It looks like Popeye has been hitting the synthol like Greg Valentino judging by his swole muscles in this tee, £24.99 from Urban Retro.

If you stand by Popeye's favourite maxim, this could be the t-shirt for you. Personally, I believe that an "I am what I am" attitude is restrictive of growth and development, and underestimates the human capacity to adapt. Popeye's propensity to solve his problems with violence is another character flaw in my view, though I guess sometimes "a man's gotta do what a man's got to do", if you'll forgive another tautophrase.
